Wash-Away Stabilizer

Wash-Away looks, feel and has the strength of a cut a way but washes away in seconds when submerged in water. This stabilizer will become your most favorite stabilizer in your stash as it can be used for appliqué, redwork, heirloom sewing, towels, napkins and heirloom sewing to name just a few.

I use Wash-Away for sewing out my designs on the organza.   I rinse the design in water  and then glue it into my card to get that wonderful sheer look.  Now you can also create that elegant look! Wash-Away Extra

Wash-Away Extra can be used for the same wonderful projects that the regular Wash-Away is used for plus you can make beautiful scarf's with ribbon and yarns like the one shown here. I made the above scarf using the sticky in about 3 hours. Order Online

Wash-Away Extra is the same product as the Wash-Away listed above only it has a sticky back adhesive.  Use like any other sticky stabilizer to hold your fabric in place, but the benefit to this stabilizer is that the stabilizer washes away leaving no residue behind.
 

Vilene D0102 Dissolvable Stabilizer

"Wash-Away" is a name given by my distributor who purchases large rolls of Vilene D0102 from Freudenburg a Global Company. Vilene D0102 is a non woven dissolvable stabilizer which is manufactured in Asia and is shipped to the US and is sold in large rolls and is sometimes repackaged under different names. All of the Vilene that is imported into the USA is the same and is distributed by Freudenburg. 

I carry the Vilene D0102 that is packaged under the name Wash-Away and also by the yard for those who are embroidering a lot of lace.

One layer is all that is needed for most projects but for dense lace you may need to use two layers.
