"Wash-Away" is a name given by my distributor who purchases large rolls of Vilene D0102 from Freudenburg a Global Company. Vilene D0102 is a non woven dissolvable stabilizer which is manufactured in Asia and is shipped to the US and is sold in large rolls and is sometimes repackaged under different names. All of the Vilene that is imported into the USA is the same and is distributed by Freudenburg.
I carry the Vilene D0102 that is packaged under the name Wash-Away and also by the yard for those who are embroidering a lot of lace.
Wash-Away looks, feel and has the strength of a cut a way but washes away in seconds when submerged in water. warm water This stabilizer will become your most favorite stabilizer in your stash as it can be used for appliqué, redwork, heirloom sewing, towels, sweaters, T-shirts and sweat shirts, napkins and paper piecing to name just a few. One layer is all that is needed for most projects but for dense lace you may need to use two layers.
